unable to sleep as nightmares plague me and the demons applaud 
come bare witness to my soul bared naked
the wounds ,the scars heartbroken 
 alone fighting this battle on my own not willing to die 
refusing to let go of what I have left 
tormented and tortured inside to the point of feeling broken 
angels and demons at war in my head 
both screaming commands 
both trying to break and bend the other 
the results are not pretty
our mortality. one of the things that we 
humans fear the most it haunts us 
through the very fibers of our being 
in the loneliness of a moonless midnight 
with a thought provoking troublesome mind 
contemplating the end
