alone with only these scars from lovers past
I stand naked for all the world to see
with no lies to hide behind 
just a broken man 
time drifts by so slowly it seems when 
yesterdays dreams become tomorrow's
old memories 
look through my sorrowed eyes,
of the pain and hurt I've felt inside
a heartbreak that hurts with pain
a you can't touch 
leaving nothing but an empty void
inside of me
would I do it all over again ?
