I lay In this moment of time............ lost

here I lay In this moment of time
lost feeling out of place remembering
the times when we should've broken
beneath the weight of our so called sins

when it was in love we believed in or
at least idea of what we thought was love
the epic thought of something vast
something more
something pure
something that lasted forever
a love with morality

youth has abandoned me along with love
left to ponder upon all that was and wasn't
those dreams of old
where did they go
the ideas that danced in our heads
of forever together
the promises of absolutes

I've never had an answer
for loathing myself for not being stronger
always wins in the end
