as sure as the sun rises then sets an the moon plays hide
and seek with the stars
I sit in the edge of darkness waiting for the light to
once again illuminate my life
but I heard it from the wind in the stories it would share
about the moon
broken hearted cold and alone betrayed by his lover the sun
the seasons change winter comes an go's
the planets realign
but the constellations stay the same
and so it is with me
waiting on love to emerge from the darkness once again

Hello Daniel-59
I read this poem and think of Astral Tides. Nepal, Baltimore, and you - I watched the movie, "Interstellar" and wanted to weep when the hero learned it was a one way trip and the earth was doomed. Enduring seems to be our lot, so I endure. ~Stella~
