with creaky bones of to many years gone by
you walk through the darkness searching for yet
another chance to turn a wrong to right
but forgiveness rejects you
some people can only mimic the love seen
but have never felt
this kind of love will always leave you in a world
of shadows an darkness with tear filled eyes
as hurt as you are
you can't blame them
for their only doing what they've seen done before
so you sit in a room absent of light an softly cry into
the night
wishing to anyones god you could of made them see
how you really felt

"Well, it's love, but not as we know it."
Annabelle Lee
Of course you have read it by Poe? Have you read "The Bells" by Poe? Lines like "...the melancholy menace of their tones..." is what this poem reminds me of. and "...loved with a love that was more than love, I and my Annabelle Lee..." Time for me to read Samuel Taylor-Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" again. The pictures on Google are amazing! ~Stella~
