Lies and broken promises
tears of pain and doubt
reaching down inside of me
tearing what's left out
i always thought you'd be there
when i needed you the most
a shoulder for me to cry on
a hand for me to hold
but now it seems you've vanished
left without a trace
leaving me all alone
tears streaming down my face
the memories they linger
won't seem to go away
painful thoughts invade my mind
all because of something
you decided to say

how true. sometimes people say things without thinking before they speak. people can be hurtful with careless thoughts that they shouldnt have said. but then again sometimes it needs to be said. you just have to recognize the difference between someone just being honest and someone just being an asshole
What can I say... you are my little sister and after reading your poems you always make me think. Im proud of you and who you are becoming. The poetry you write will always have such meaning in your own life since that is where it stems from. Just remember life is most definitly what you make of it. I love you Sara and im always here for you.
