On My Final Day
On my final day do not cry,
Do not regret the time we shared.
Just be happy and look up into the sky,
I am free, no pain and I am not scared.
Do not play that sad music,
Do not morn me on my final day.
Just reflect my life and what I have done,
For this is my day and that is all I pray.
On my final day you will cry,
On my final day I will cry.
On my final day I will be free,
I will be with those that I have lost.
Please remember me for who I was and not for what I have done,
Remember the good and not the bad.
And know that my life has just begun.
It’s okay to cry and to be sad.
From now on I will just be another memory,
I will be the wind that blows.

I will be the leaves that fall.
I will be in your dreams,
I will forever be in your heart.
On my final day I will be your memory,
On my final day I will be your tear.
On my final day I will no longer live in fear,

On my final day when you say your goodbye.
