Love is a myth
Or so it seems
It only exists in movies
And within our dreams
Love is a fantasy
Merely a beautiful lie
Yet we long for that feeling
For that imaginary high
Love is an illusion
Simply a means to an end
It's unrealistic
And I refuse to pretend
Love is a fallacy
It's nonexistent in reality
It's unrequited in all aspects
Love truly is a tragedy
