I feel your pain, but in my experience good or bad always worth the process. It is the process I enjoy invariably, I am neither satisfied or dissatisfied with its existence but every so often the wind of inspiration roars calling the gift of imagination to entwine with experience and together they write the perfect line, and maybe once maybe twice they will all end up in the same poem! That is why the process is so important it is a metaphorical net or sail hoping to catch sail to that place where poems are written down and remembered forever! Simple but true your poem is a great expression of process for me.
