The nation is in a sad state of distress
Fly high that white rag
Forfeit out freedom while sending out another unanswered S.O.S.
What have we done?
Placing all our chastised chips on the wrong bet
Surrender’s song has been silently sung
But we’re not ready to give up the ghost just yet
Burning your candle at both ends now
You’ll only incinerate yourself alive
This vicious cycle never ends now
Selling our souls to slavery everyday from nine to five
Swallow your lies
You should probably practice what you preach
When the world opens up its eyes
We realize the sun is really not that far from our reach
…And when the whistle blows loud
Don’t put down your gun
Don’t give up the fight
Far away the enemies will rapidly run
At just the thought of this suicidal sight
With beating drums we all march on while erasing any remaining wrath
Our fate and future shine so bright
If we keep following this perplexing puzzle of a path
We’ll soon discover salvation tonight
As long as we follow the light...
Stars and stripes are torn
The evil enemy celebrates in joy
A brand new scar has been born
In the feeble form of a baby boy
Pangaea’s broken
Separating the seven satanic shades of gray
The words of defeat are softly spoken
But we’re not ready to leave our land today
Throwing hand grenades of hatred in mid air
You’re only exploding your very own heart
Come full circle in the crosshair
Soon you’ll find yourself right hack at the start
Fly with a wounded feather
A noble lesson we will teach
As the stitches of society start to sever
We realize our dreams are just beyond our reach

Merely at the idea of this sinister sight
