Time, such a precious thing, now I'm out of it,

Regret, such a devastating thing, now I'm full of it.

Go ahead, try to push rewind, try to break free and run,

We're all out of time, say "goodbye" to the sun.



I've watched the sand in that hour glass fall,

I've witnessed the pendulum swing back and forth again.

I've watched the clock slowly tick my life away, but never really thought about it at all,

I've witnessed my world and dreams come to a sudden end.



I wasted this gift, a poem without a rhyme,

There's no turning back, we're all out of time.

But everything would be alright,

If I could just have a second chance tonight.



Love, such a beautiful thing, now I'm drained of it,

Hate, such a disgusting thing, now I'm loaded with it.

Go ahead, try to push the reset button, try to go back to day "one",

We're all out of time, say "farewell" to all the fun.



I've felt the tears fall down from my eye,

I've seen the rain come and go.

I've felt my soul, mind, and heart give in and die,

I've seen our relationship get tossed in the eye of the storm and then caught in the undertow.



I wasted this life, I never made you mine,

There's no road ahead, I'm all out of time.

But everything would be alright,

If I could just hold your hand tonight.
