Why do us teenagers just throw around love
We aren't in love but we want to be
I don't get why no one can see
We think we are in love
But when you break up
Its kinda like a heads-up
You realize you weren't in love
You were in love with the idea of them
And you realize you've been super dumb
You can't force yourself to be in love
Everyone says "i love you' as much as they say "hi"
That's probably when you should say goodbye
Stop pretending to be in love
When what you really need is a wake up call
Before you take the hit of truth and fall
You aren't in love
So stop pretending to be.
old before your time.
I can really sense your frustration at the superfical love that we all seem to have, I would like to add though that many of us often look back at the singleminded kind of love that we had before the adult stuff that just gets in the way and makes relationships feel like quicksand. I like you're style though keep writing.
The darkness outside is not so frightening as the one inside. Behind knowing smiles and crocodile tears we hide our fears.
Being angry at someone is to give them power over you, but to forgive is to take away that power.
