She stands before them,
The tribunal in her mind
Those she created
To make judging herself easy.
Their accusations are devastating
She falls to her knees
And she cries.
She cries, for the pain is deep
Not her own pain
But that which she has caused others
Making it difficult for them
To love her as she truly is.
This realm she created
Though not real
In truth is more real to her
Than the sky or the trees.
As she stands alone
Being judged by her personal lore
Bound by unseen chains
Struggling against herself
She must will herself on.
To move forward is the only way
Make amends for the past
But do not dwell within it.
To free herself of demons
She created by herself
For herself.
She is her own worst enemy.
