Snapped in half
Broken as easily as a twig
Shredded like a piece of paper
Cracked like a window slammed shut
Shattered as easily as the good china
Feelings as complicated as high school algebra
Emotions as intricate as a spider web
My mind reeling
Going forwards then back like someones pressing the buttons on a VCR
Memories as colorful as a childs first finger painting
Thoughts screaming past like a semi on the ighway
My heart more cluttered than a mad scientists lab
Nothing makes sense
Everything rushes forward at once
And I pray for a quick ending to the blinding madness
