Love Poetry True love comes but once in a lifetime
a neverending time of bliss.
Tears of joy and soaring hearts,
nights of passion and unspoken words.
Everything I see before me
drives me further towards the light
of love that you are holding
with open arms to embrace my soul.
I am forever in debt to the love
that you have showered upon me
when darkness was all that I'd known
you brought light into my empty life.
To you I owe my very life
which has almost ended countless times.
You've given me new reason to breathe
as well as one day a place to call our own.
You gave me courage I never knew I had,
I've done things I never knew I could.
Felt love so deeply and smiled
with more of my heart then ever before.
