If you happen to see me,
consider this a fair warning.
I'm not who I seem to be.
So don't step to me.

I'm not looking for anything.
You'll never make me happy.
I gave my heart to another man.
Now I feel so second-hand.

Please understand,
I'm not who I say I am.
I know in the end.
I'll just hurt you like I did him.

Don't get it twisted.
You'll wish I never existed.
I'm a wolf in sheeps clothing.
I'll pull the wool over your eyes.

I like to walk alone at night.
It makes me feel so alive.
Then they try to approach,
why do they even bother for?

Yes I know I may look broken.
But I'm not looking to be fixed.
Listening to lies already spoken.
Of course I'm not paying attention.

There isn't anything that you could say,
that I haven't heard too many times before.
You might as well tell me what you want now.
The sooner you get it, the sooner you'll leave me alone.

Don't ask me for any favors.
I don't have time for anyone new.
I rarely keep my promises.
Don't expect me to keep my word.

I think you're better off not knowing me.
Because I'm learning how it is to be free.
I'll just bite your head off out of instinct.
You'll kill yourself trying to love someone like me.

So if you see me walk on by,
Just smile politely and be on your way.
Don't fall victim to my tangled web.
Just keep your distance don't step to me.
