You dance softly with me
and try to make it seem ok
You smile into my eyes
but you can't wipe my tears away

I love you so much
and there's nothing I can say
To change your mind and make you mine
when you can only see your way

How can you just let it go
when you know we've struck gold
As we've worked so damn hard
to make us become this way

Don't tell me you love me
don't tell me you hurt
I hate your logic
in love it just burns

Cry to me how you want me
then throw it all away?
Why are you choosing
to end it here today?

I don't understand
and I certainly don't believe
When you tell me you love me
just try to bleed for me.
