I sit here
And wonder
Why you did
what you did

I wonder
What posessed you mind
to think that you could just
throw me away like trash.

I wonder why
you would cause
so much hurt
between the two of us.

I wonder why
You would break us apart.
But now
I hate you

I hate you for what you did to me
And what you have become
I hate you for causing me
so much hurt.

But now
I'm happy that
you did do
what you did.

Because now
I really do have the love of my life
Now I have someone
Who will never hurt me like you did.

So I guess I'm thanking you
for what you did to me.
But understand I do hate you
And I do wonder why you did
