Author's Notes/Comments:
From a set of magazine photographs I saw in spring, 1977, during the last term of my freshman year at college. The "feature" photographs depicted the model, a young lady not too much older than myself at that time, on a private beach, wearing only blue pantyhose. The incongruity of that surprised me---as I was rather naive and uninformed: although I realized that it was exactly the incongruity of that combination that provided the erotic charm. I cannot explain why, almost thirty-four years later, the memory has returned, but it returned forcefully enough to provide the Tanka above.
