[after Isaiah 12:3]

Let us draw nearer to Salvation's wells:

the closer there, the less we find of Hell's

infernal and incessant aggravation.

Draw nearer to each other as each tells

the testimony of this sure Salvation

from sin and death, the grave, and real damnation.

But here, with the redeemed, Christ's Word dispels

all fear, and lifts our souls' elation.

Let us praise Him in endless exaltation.
