One time I killed myself

Shooting shadows in the dark

Too much pride to cry for help

Lying bleeding in the dark

I could only see the pain I felt

Crying to myself in the dark

While above me the shadows knelt

Hiding secrets in the dark

I found the things I never felt

Shouting anger in the dark

I locked my pain up on the shelf

To hide with the shadows in the dark

And again I'll kill myself
