so close to your body,
i can feel your chest expand as you breathe,
half sleeping snores, quiet and mouse like,
fragile.
i run my finger's through your hair,
smile and kiss, behind your ear
freckles are my favorite things on a girls shoulders.
i squeeze my arm tighter around you,
and wrap angel feet, closer to me.
you're so sweet,
this is nice and at the moment, everything.
you say you never dream , such a pity.
i caress and admire, without boundaries
i like your awkward teeth you see as insecurity,
we whisper to each other, words so softly.
your back is to me, like always
but slowly you're turning and trusting
my wierdness and inept gestures
of unique comfort,
for you.
not to worry,
i assure you that i'm friendly
and in time, i'll make you see, feel and love,
my magic.
I have been reading poetry, and especially love poems, for slightly over thirty years. This is one of the most impressive that I have read in that time. You have accurately and intensely described the beauty of the love-play calleed cuddling or snuggling, and you have described its most exquisite form---when it is done for itself and not as intentional persuasion to intimacy. I applaud the beauty and verbal precision you have elegantly deployed in this marvelous poem!

This is beautiful, very nice expressions of emotions. You seem to have an incredible way with words! She was a lucky girl. Peace and Love-J
