Blinded by the people who've brought you all this way
Only to discover it's wrong, though it seems too late
But don't give up hope, look inside yourself
It's not about who you know, or your wealth
Who are you really when the lights go down
When your clouds are gone, and you're on solid ground.
You'd of thought this would make you content
But now all you feel is depressed, your dreams are bent.
The one you'd left behind, for all this time
Remains waiting there from the time you left Him inside
Still waiting, and still loving and kind
How can you face Him, after all you've done?
So selfish and still you decide to run.
The pain you can't bear could be gone,
If you'd go back and He'll be waiting from dusk til dawn.
We all make mistakes,
But all sinners can become saints.
Hear me now, you can change
It is never, ever too late.
