Waves In A Heart Breaking Sea.

Confusion threatens to overtake me,
The terrifying waves in a heart breaking sea.
I flinch and swim as fast as I can,
But around me there seems to be no safe land.
Can't someone save me, or lend a hand?
But it seems I'm alone through this storm.
Misery and hopelessness begins to form,
And it feels my heart is nearly torn.
Dear sunshine, where have you gone?
I thought we had, such a good bond.
But you have left me, like all good things
And the stars, they no longer sing.
As I fall beneath the waves,
And my will begins to cave,
I see a light.
And though it's small, it pierces the night.
A hand reaches down and I hear a voice,
"You can win this fight, so darling, rejoice.
I'll be there for you through everything,
And I'll comfort you and take away the sting."
I took the hand of the one I most love,
As He lifted me above.
Away from the storm and the pain,
Away from the heart ache and rain.
I drifted off to sleep and comfort came.
I can finally hope again.

Hey! I'm surprised no one has

Hey! I'm surprised no one has commented on this poem! It's great, very vivid. I like how almost every line rimes, and the hope you give to the audience at the end. I'd work a bit on the rhythm, but other than that, I appreciated reading it. Cheers!
