Alone

Laying in the room thinking of what a

Wonderful thing they could have become

One more hug to remember that night

Good memories, heart seems to be turning numb

Waiting another night, even she knows changes have to be made

Stranded from a distant as they watch each other fade

Bleeding tears of fear screaming down her face

Fallen on the ground, can't get up, he lost the race

Can't be alone, no not again, can't go back to that place

One more chance I swear, it was never just a phase

Sitting home alone, she can't go out

Listening to the radio, the song reminds her of him

She won't lie, and her face begins to glow

Waist the day away, waiting for the call, staring at the phone

Dreaming of being in his arms, wakes up, she's all alone

They both know that what they felt seemed right all along

How could something so right, ever be considered wrong?

Looking at the picture of her melted up on his the shelf

Looking deep into her eyes, what he saw was himself
