Another night, people changed, they turned their heads
They hid their shame, hid their pain, hid their memories away
And when they stayed, it was not long, until they realized
What they did wrong and they realized
There was nothing they could do
When they lost their trust, in themselves
But most importantly they lost their trust in you
They’ll suffer now, they’ll fall straight down to the ground
And what’s the point of getting up if they don’t see you
What will they do, they can’t turn back,
The hourglass won’t tip
I guess it’s time to say goodbye to youth
Forgiveness now, its too much reach, this kind of stretch
A normal workout could only work
If you were there to ease the need
Hiding in shame, but now for what, what’s the point of a
Written story if the ending is not worth reading about.
So turn the page to yet another day.
its a nice poem having a deeper meaning. i like it.
best of luck.
