I'll let you go.
I will not say goodbye.
I won't cry.
I won't say goodbye.
Acceptance.
I understand.
You let go of my hand.
To my question, I wanted you to say yes
you said no.
You made a choice. You used your voice.
Acceptance.
It's with him you want to stay.
It's with him you want to remain.
You will the pain ignore.
You will shut the door.
I sense though acceptance of what is there is still inner pain about it. sometimes that in and of itself is hard to get beyond initially but it does indeed pass.
