MARRY ME

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

I to see you came so very far.

I came by plane, subway, train, and car.

The woman in the state so great.

The woman from Burlington.  The woman so much fun.

The woman from the state of Hawkeye.

She brings a tear to my eye.

I want you in my life.  I want you as my wife.

As the rivers Mississippi and Missouri meet.

As they flow.  There's nowhere we cannot go.

In the city of St. Lou.  Me and you.

We can too.  Yes, that's what we can do.

We've known each other years times three, see.

You took away all my tears.  You took away all my fears.

                                      And more, a fact,

                                       I can't ignore.

I just want to be with you, it's true.

I love all that you do.  I love all that you are.  We've come so far.

I would marry thee
If thou weren't married alreadee
Which makes it bigamee
Or possibly even polygamee
