BARN DANCE
Every weekend,
the Farm has a barn dance.
Everybody knows.
Everybody goes.
Some decide to bring a date.
It goes until late.
There are the cows and the horses.
The sheep come, but they usually fall asleep.
The pigs, and the chickens come too.
Yes, it is true.
Finally, the chickens want to know when
the hens will come.
the geese and the ducks arrive.
Right away, into the huge pool of water,
they dive.
All the animals dance on the lawn too.
It's true.
The dance goes until the dawn.
Hey animals are entitled to a good time as well! LOL
Even though I lived on a farm for the biggest part of my childhood I never saw a barn dance. Lots of BBQ's and mosquitoes under yard lights though. LOL
