Statistics tell us that 24 million people called to vote for American Idol.
24 MILLION PEOPLE!
There are only 290 millon people in the country!!
So, almost 10 percent of the population called!!
That does not include people watching and people that did not call.
That does not include people watching and people that did not call.
Everybody I know was watching it
That's national TV!!
That's how TV can bring us together!!
That's the power of TV!!
I never got into that show. Saw only a portion of one season. IT is a sad fact that we come together to watc TV but will not sit down together to try to find a way of peace.

Yeahh pretty sad isn't it. If 24 million+ people would all be doing something productive instead of sitting around watching television this world would be a better place.. But such is america and the world in general. Technology is like the yin and yang, both good and evil. Sorry, just felt the need to rant.
