People say they don’t know where my darkness comes from,
If only they could walk a mile in my shoes,
It would be more than obvious where my darkness comes from.
Then the question would not be of darkness,
But how I could muster a smile.
I have so many more problems than people seem to conceive,
However having no one to talk to,
I am forced to keep all emotion bottled up inside.
It is to the point now I feel as if I may explode.
People do not know where I get my darkness,
If only they could walk a mile in my shoes.
