The brown-haired
Green-eyed Angel
Of healing
Clothed in black
Rose petals in her hair
Thorns around her wrists
Skin pale as moonlight
Enticing body figure
Catches your attention
Without words
She chooses you
(You!) out of everyone else
She mends your wounds
Heals your scars
Gives you confidence
Self-esteem
And just as quickly
The Angel leaves you
Much better off than before
With self-assurance
Things'll be alright
Without her.
The Angel goes on choosing
Her mind set on one thing
To heal the broken
And to not fall in love
The Angel comes upon another person
Wipes the blood off his wrists
Takes all his pain and suffering
And keeps it within herself
The Angel vanishes again
Coming, this time, upon a girl
Dried her tears and fed her love
Tried to give her confidence
Gained her trust
The Angel gave the girl a silver ring
Keeping her with the Angel always
The Angel moves on to another person
A man whose eyes were dark
His heart and body, numb
The Angel smiled at him
Touched his heart and mind
Opened his heart carefully
Filled it with love
And kissed his lips
Her thorns cut into her wrists
And she bled
Why suddenly did this happen?
The man touched the Angel's heart
And kissed her cheek
More blood
The Angel cried silently in pain
And the man went to wipe the tears away
The Angel drew back from his touch
This has never happened before
So the man was in despair again
And the Angel of healing reached out to him again
Cutting the circlet of thorns off her wrists
He held her
The petals flew gently from her hair
And her halo faded out
The Angel of healing
Had found her healer.
