When it all started,

something put your life in a whirl.

When you made a decision,

and adopted a baby girl.

You made her feel wanted,

and you gave her lots of love.

You were her angel,

I was that little baby,

a home, I might not have found.

If you had not cared,

or had not bothered to come around.

When I was sick,

you would rock me to sleep.
