Ghosts In The House

Your eyes bring hope to all the lonely ghosts
They silence to find comfort in your voice
A whisper was spread throughout the house
One to suddenly bring rejoice

The ghosts cry when you follow down the doorsteps
They moan to see you leave
A scream vibrates all the walls
I feared you would not believe

"Please come back"
On my knees I beg and pleed
You come running to the rescue
Would you if you knew it was not true?

beautiful

There's such strong imagery in this poem I couldn't help but imagine every line. Job well done
