A hot morning
With a humid atmosphere
A little chance of rain in the afternoon
Nothing exciting going on
Cats lazing around
A peaceful day
A boring day

My mind plays a chord
Da Da Dee Dum
A familiar tune plays inside my head
Da Da Dee Dum
And before I know I’m singing
And I turn on the music
Hoping that the right music comes out

The familiar tune inside my head continues
The right music comes out from the speaker

The morning heat seems to disappear
And the dampness ceases
The boredom melts away like darkness in the face of light
Da Da Dee Dum
The music turns into a gentle breeze
Cooling me down
Entertaining me
And filling me up with memories
So many feelings and memories
It gets me to think how so many things can fit into a single song

The music keeps playing
Urging me to enjoy rather than to think
For once I let that thought sip in
And before I know it I’m enjoying the music to the fullest
