I still wonder, what would have gone wrong,

For you to drift away and be quiet for so long.

Life goes on, yet I'm not reborn,

To forget my love for you and it’s not all!

Remembering the times spent in the past.

Lonely sad days now surround my heart.

A silent plea for a love that should last,

Words unspoken, and we are apart!

The cold nights breathlessly keep me awake,

Wondering thoughts of you so great.

Wanting you to call and it's no fake,

Believe me darling it's too much to take!

I still cherish all things we did together,

Never will forget, even in the cold weather.

Memories won’t fly away, like a bird's feather,

Love lingers in my heart alone and forever!
