Glass Bottom, or the basics of being me

I want to drink

Until the thoughts die,
Let the words subside
And hope they move
To Minnesota
To gain a new lease on life,
I want my heart to stop racing
Drag strip style
Speeding down
Lanes of veins
Where arteries collide
With the valves inside,
I've always been this way,
Waning,
Fully mixed up
Like trail mix
And everybody
Takes the parts they don't like
And separates them from the bowl,
Fix me then
Or don't
Just accept me then
Or give me a chance
To tug on your hearts strings
And hope I don't sever a chord,
Musics not even funny anymore
Like it was when I was seven,
I saw sound as a reference
A place to get back to
When I was feeling down
But the sound has grown dim,
I'm in a glass boat bottomless pit
Staring at rare life
And it's not even half way over,
Call me when it's over
Or maybe don't
And just come over
