Beauty is not in the eyes
Of the beholder
I told her as we got older
That the truth was sobering,
Beauty is in the eyes
And it's peerless
Super solar
Blinding my bones
And bleaching wild teachings,
It stops me cold
And leaves me warm,
I'm spotlighted
Deer in the headlights
And I'm shot and killed
Before I can ever
Find the patience
To write how I feel
About the eyes of the ones you love,
The mouth can lie
And the brain deceive
But the eyes are honest
Decent
Feasting on evil intention
They see this instant
That I've a penchant for life,
The eyes I've come to know
Are still crystalline
Fully alone from hate
Fully kind this time
wow!!! this was beautiful!!!
wow!!! this was beautiful!!! keep it up! :)
