S. S. Trust Issues

Feelings and fake emotions

Flood overboard a captain
Long gone in that ocean where
Twisted seas unite the party's fervor,
I can feel the verbs
But you, you speak nails that drive home
A reckless point abandoned
In lost action on ripped sails,
Tracking the VHS tapes
Is useless on a new generation
As if to say love without sex
Is the new gospel,
A whoosh sound rings eternal

There is a stillness here
In the dark rows
Where minds go missing,
A simple understanding
Lost in routine
Only found when inebriation
Takes the control from you,
Tiny systems we create
Stay consistent with the views
Of scholars who drilled it into us,
You are not you
But the thoughts of thousands before
In an experiment of trial and error

This Poem Has Everything

flow, unstoppable emotion, poignant description of solid construct and the air filled idea floating like a gnat through a unified atmosphere. Love to read the sounds and hear the way each word was selected. With you, I say, "...I can feel the verbs..." A re-reader assuredly, a voice so clear and concise, I am refreshed! :D ~allets~
