I think I saw an angel,

just over my shoulder today.

I sensed her more than saw her,

but when I looked, she went away.



I felt a moment of such peace,

that all was right in the world.

Then in my minds eye, I saw her take flight,

as her wondrous wings unfurled.



I know that she is with me,

her presence feels so near.

Even to the point,

I felt her wipe away my tear.



My Guardian Angel is beautiful,

she has a golden glow.

And when I saw her face,

it was one that I well know.
