Somewhere way out west,
where the air is dry,
stretching along the horizon,
a striking turquoise sky.
With silver lining clouds
high above the range.
That slowly fade away
when the sun and moon exchange.
An amazing mixture of colors,
blues and greens and teal.
Like the precious stone it resembles,
with that soft southwestern appeal.
Someday I hope to view it,
into it's depths I'd drown.
Get lost in that turquoise sky
and never float back down.
