if you're not inching ahead, walking, crawling, jogging
then you are inevetiably, falling back
sliding down
lettimng your face hit the ground
and if you're not moving on and up and out
then you must be standing still, spirialing down and slipping back
and if you amke that mistake
that counteracts
well,...
it's like a pound
gained in less then a mintue
and if it's a good week lost in one
and if you don't breath
your heart crisps
hold your breath too long-
and it's a hard heart to crack
so if i'm flat faced to the floor
and you coming running after me

and drag me all the way
stomping and screaming
not at all believing
