The Wound
you wounded me
did i wound you
see the things we caused
left some scares on my heart too
you cut me deep
more then you could know
don't want it to get the best of me
so i try not to let it show
it's a fatal wound
a deep infection
it's spreading wide
i'm trying to look for protection
it keeps me down
it hurts me so
i've got this wound
it just growas an d grows/ it doesn't always show.
in makes me bleed
it inflicts pain
makes all my motivations
for personal gain
it keeps me from breathing
oh i could insane
sometimes i think it might fade
- if i call it by it's name
my wound is deep
my hurt is wide
if i could conjure up corage
to help sawallow my pride
look for a cure
maybe it all would just subside
a wound that effects/ touches my eyes
