If I could reach up high
I'd grab a shining star
Bring it back to earth
Put it where you are

I'd wipe out all your sorrows
Dry up all your tears
Fill your life with happiness
Remove all of your fears

At night when you were sleeping
I'd shine that star on you
To give your dreams some light
To help them to come true

When you woke at morning
I'd break that star in two
Place the halves in both your eyes
So you could carry that star with you

Then you'd always have that sparkle
No matter where you are
You'd be such a beautiful person
A bright and shining star
