Shall we speak of faith?
Does it really exist?
And do I really have to be blind?
And do these questions negate my one chance for hope?
By wondering, do I counteract the whole meaning of the word?
Believing in the ghost that can never be seen is one thing, I mean, I can feel it, can't you?
But wondering if what I feel is true, may be another...
And if I question it, does that make it artificial, counterfit, false, fake, VOID?
I may never know my faith and I may be blinded by the blur of all the inquiries that have ever been made
AND YET, there is something inside me that beams, it stirs these aching doubts, it pulls me to my feet every morning
and I feel confident that faith is just around the corner, or just below my fear
Waiting to spring to attention
Faith is complicated, so I will ask you not to take my word for what it is or means. However, I will say this...test your faith, and the answers will come over time. By the way...great poem too.
Faith is a tricky subject that even the greatest minds in the world cannot pin down entirely. Each person believes in what they feel. Even if what they feel is obscure or unlike anything else thought of, that gives it no less credance. One should always question but at some point an answer will be attained and then a whole new level of satisfaction is achieved. Believe in the truths that you feel in your heart to be right and you can't be wrong. ^_^ BTW, An excellent example of poetry born of the very thoughts of each human being.

I thought this quote by Francis Bacon would give an insight:
"If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end with doubts;
But if he will begin in doubts, he shall end in certainties."
Many people mix up faith and credulity.Faith is based on a solid foundation of facts gathered and proven to oneself.Credulity is blind belief.Question your beliefs, prove them to yourself against certainties you already know and, if you then can claim them without doubt, you have the basis for real faith.
Smile.. it is the cheapest facelift.
oh... I have felt like this before. I remember those feelings and questions all too well...
Interesting, i believe in questioning. For it is through these questions that we can achieve truth, love and understanding. What we need to constantly question are the words of man "inspired" by God, not God (he/she/they/it is clear as day)

I believe we all have faith to our beliefs. BUt the problem is, we aren't a hundred percent sure if our belief is true. Good point on a poem, by the way.
