Icy Blue and Deathly Endings

6 Years Ago your icy blue eyes pierce my heart
and take my breath away
my heart cries out in pain for you
‘come back to me some day’
I miss the sound of your voice
and the way that you would sing
the smile to my face you brought;
only you knew how to bring
the laughs that we used to share
the memories we made
my heart is forever yours
but to you, I begin to fade
much like a flower my heart has become
it’s beautiful for days
but when it’s lost what it needs to live
it begins to die away
the pedals turn dark and fly away
to the ground they fall
delicate as they are
much like a porcelain doll
one rough touch and it will shatter
hearts are the same
into thousands of pieces they may break
only to be left to shatter again
so when you have another’s heart
captured by your love
be sure to hold on tightly, but careful
and let love soar above

ok I am having extreme deja vu because I swear I have not only seen your profile pic before but then when I red this poem I swore I had read it before and two lines I knew what was coming next, that was odd and yea oddd....never had deja vu that vivid before when reading poetry

This poem is beautiful, I get how u feel. It maybe random but it came from ur beautiful daisy heart, my heart is a thorn, hard to get a hold of but beautiful if u can see it and feels better if u know how to hold it.
