Mom & "Dad" The waves are crashing over her head.
They won't bring her to the shore.
Only to the edge.
She is drowning and I can't reach her.
Please somebody come and save her.
she's slipping under and I can't help her
I'm watching her die
Right before my eyes
She screams out to me
But I can't reply
No matter what I do
I can't help her survive
God, please help her
I still need her.
It kills me inside to hear her cry
And not being able to respond
I have to sit on the sidelines
And watch helplessly
As the tide carries her away
Can somebody please come her way
Help me help her, O God
I'm not strong enough.

My mom was in a lot of pain before we knew what was wrong with her and the pain was so bad that she said she wanted to kill herself to stop being in pain and i was completely and utterly helpless. I mean, I was 15 years old. I didn't know what was going on and There was no way I could help. She litterally sat in front of me and told me she was contemplating suicide.
