The pain I feel when I'm missing you,
Is only relieved when I'm kissing you.
When I feel your touch again,
All the dread within, flies away.
It flies and carries worries, regrets, and all negative thoughts
To a place where they can no longer burden my mind.
When I'm with you the world is fine.
I feel peace, and love.
And the only thing that hovers above, is sunshine.
With you it doesn't rain.
Everything is bright and even things so plain,
Seem extravagant.
The littlest things seem so large.
Because my eyes, you open them,
and my mind you charge.
You are the brain power that allows me to see
things once so hidden.
Like love. Like happiness. Like a little white dress.
You are the broken heart to my brokenness.
Together we make a whole.
And when we're together it beats so strong,
But apart, it barely gets along.
It barely can survive, but we meet again and it is revived.
That heart we built won't die.
Because the love that comes with it,
Will forever be alive.
