The easy trusted guinea pig.
Down the street there was a beautiful little brown guinea pig, called Mary, she was walking to her school. She was very distracted reading the newspaper when suddenly she was accidentally hitted by Joseph.
-I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking forward, let me help you with that.
-Oh don’t worry, I was a little distracted too.
-Nice to meet you
-Hi, I think I have seen you before in my school.
-Oh my god, do you also go the Saint Louis Institute?
-Yes actually I’m on my way to there, aren’t you going to classes?
-I have some other interesting things to do, don’t you want to join me?
He was a raccoon, who was also attending to the same institute as she was. She was the type of girl that loves to study and don’t like to not attend to classes. But Joseph was a really nice and handsome raccoon, so she decided to go with him.
-Well I don’t think anything bad could happen if I don’t attend just one day to the school.
-Okay, nice choice, follow me.
They went to a magical place, full of other young animals who don’t like going to school. The place was full of games, go karts, rollercoasters, etc. It was like an amusement park. Full of other kids to play with. Mary has never come to a place like this, she thought it was a dream because it was so wonderful she can’t believe what was going on. They played all day long till they got tired and went back home.
When she arrived to her home there was a police officer outside there with her parents.
-We were so worried about you, where have you been?
-Everything is fine, don’t worry, I just lost the track of time doing my homework with my friends.
-That’s not true, you are grounded for a month. We know you didn’t go to the school today. We can’t believe you lied to us, you are not like this. And you will be helping in this house every day starting today.
Very sad because she disappointed her parents, quietly she went to her room to start doing the taks her mom told her. She knew in that moment that what she did, even if she had fun like she had never did, was very wrong.
Moral of the fable: The little guinea pig understood that she should not follow the bad advices from friends. Someone who loves you and appreciates you will never tell you to do something wrong.
