What Matters

When I'm feeling like I've had enough

When the girl in the mirror wants to give up

Because her best is hidden under insecurities

I say I've got too many problems

And it's not your job to solve them

I ask why you're still here, and that's when you remind me

It doesn't matter if we fight,

We can make it alright

It doesn't matter what you wear,

You always cause me to stare

It doesn't matter if you know why I'm here,

What matters is you know I'm not going anywhere

I always say you could do better

With a girl who knows she's special

And you're crazy for going through all of this with me

You say go ahead and call me crazy

But there will never be another lady

Who does what you do to make me feel this happy

It doesn't matter if we disagree,

Because you are you and I am me

It doesn't matter if the times get tough,

Being with you is more than enough

It doesn't matter if you know why I'm here,

What matters is you know I'm not going anywhere

If you must know why I'm here

It's for the times that we share

When we don't need any words at all

Babe, I'm not going anywhere

How can I make it more clear?

With you I'm in love and I continue to fall

It won't matter when your hairs turn grey,

I'll always look at you in this same way

It won't matter if time separates,

The love we have won't fade away

It won't matter if you know why I'm here,

What will matter is you know I'm going anywhere

to tell you the truth.

it was very cliche.. but you made up for it with the awesome ending.
I have never really like rhyming poems but this one was pretty top notch.

the rhyming got a little over the top, but like i said, the ending was amazing.
